KCL Family Day 2025 – “A New Chapter of Home, A Journey Together" A Spectacular Celebration of Warmth, Love and Community!
Last week, the 2025 KCL Family Day was grandly held in Tianjin, filling the venue with endless laughter and joy!
Our team from the Konecranes factory, our cherished business partners, friends and of course, every KCL family member's ultimate "support squad" – mums, dads, adorable little ones, and loving partners. Together, we created an unforgettable annual family celebration full of warmth, surprises, and heartfelt moments.

As the event kicked off, the atmosphere exploded with energy as the KCL Dance Crew took the stage! Sequins waistcoats, trendy sunglasses, and bold dance moves – it was a showstopping opening that set the tone for the celebratory day.
In the cosy and joyful family atmosphere of KCL Family Day, our leadership team shared their passionate journey of KCL over the past year – from unity and hard work to overcoming our greatest challenges and breakthroughs.
Representatives from the Konecranes factory also took to the stage, offering powerful words of respect and recognition to the entire KCL team.
Amidst the heartfelt applause and proud gazes of our families, outstanding employees stepped up to the podium one by one to receive their well-deserved awards.
Think KCL people are all about business? Think again! Their hidden comedic skills and humour had everyone burst into laughter and stitches!
The Service Department’s "Three-Line Skit" was packed with hilarious workplace stories. Our resident heartthrob wowed the crowd with their stunning vocals and interactive performance. And let’s not forget the adorable children’s troupe, whose endless talents and playful antics stole the show!
If we had to pick the most "out of control" part of the event, it would have to be the Ancient-Style Pitch-Pot Competition!
Paired up in teams, participants transformed into sharpshooters. Some hit the target with their eyes closed; others managed to miss the pot entirely with ten straight throws – all to the delight of the cheering crowd.
And then came the heart-racing moments – wave after wave of grand prize draws!
The screams got louder with every round. Lucky winners were swarmed by congratulatory colleagues, while those who didn’t win still happily joined the fun, sharing in the joyful atmosphere.
It turns out the real prize is the thrill of celebrating together!
This year’s Family Day was themed "A New Chapter of Home, A Journey Together", creatively blending traditional culture with modern aesthetics to present a rich and stylish new-Chinese cultural feast.
The event featured interactive zones showcasing intangible cultural heritage, including the art of Qi Shan fans, traditional pastry tasting, and tea appreciation. Through the harmony of cultural heritage and modern life, we added a beautiful new chapter to our shared family story.
KCL Family Day is a celebration where every effort is recognised, every bit of family support echoes back, and the joyfulness of being together becomes the strength that drives us forward.
Here’s to 2025 – may we continue this journey side by side, fueled by the love of our family and friends. We wouldn’t be here without them!
